A range-taking device.
Features :
- U-bolts are captured.
- 4–2/0 Alum.; 6–2/0 ACSR (.19–.46).
- No interference when the conductor is fed into the side-open unit, due to single U-bolt fastening device on the opposite side from the keeper.
- Keeper is spring-loaded for a smooth opening when released to allow conductor installation.
- Pulling eye is on the front of the unit, enabling easy application of pulling hook.
- Components are well lubricated, allowing more pressure on the conductor with less torque. Pressure pad, nuts, and washers are all lubricated.
